The AMS service offers you -
TOTAL ACCIDENT MANAGEMENT
When you report an accident, you will be referred to your own
Personal Accident Manager who will assist you with the paperwork,
arrange a replacement vehicle where necessary and ensure that
your car is repaired and back on the road as soon as possible.
Your Personal Accident manager will deal with all your enquiries
and will ensure that your claim is dealt with quickly and efficiently.
24-HR EMERGENCY HELPLINE
You can call our helpline 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our
specialists will be on hand to arrange the recovery of your
vehicle if necessary and to help you in any way they can.
+ FREE INDEPENDENT LEGAL AND TECHNICAL ADVICE
Our experts are on your side and will provide advice on any
matter concerning a motoring incident or any problem arising
from this.
VEHICLE RECOVERY AND STORAGE
If your vehicle is undriveable as a result of an accident or
vandalism, one of our approved repairers will recover and transport
it to their depot for storage pending repair instructions.
FREE COURTESY CAR
If you have an accident which is your fault, our approved repairers
can supply a courtesy car subject to availability whilst your
car is with them for repair.
REPLACEMENT VEHICLE
If your car is repairable or written off after an accident,
we agree that you were not at fault and there are reasonable
prospects of recovery, we can arrange for you to use alternative
transport from the time of the accident until your car is repaired
or we have recovered its pre-accident value.
EMERGENCY OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATION
If your vehicle is undriveable following an accident and you
are unable to continue your journey, we will reimburse up to
£60.00 for emergency hotel accommodation of your choice (not
available to fleet users).
UNINSURED LOSS & LEGAL EXPENSES COVER
If you have an accident and it is not your fault, recovering
your losses will cost time and money, Our specialists will help
you maximise your claim and obtain full compensation for injuries
for you and your passengers, loss of income and other expenses.
If it is necessary to take legal action and our experts consider
that there are reasonable prospects of recovery, your AMS membership
will ensure that you need not worry about the cost of court
action.
NATIONWIDE REPAIRER NETWORK
If you are comprehensively insured or even have only third party
cover, we can arrange an estimate, collection, delivery and
authorisation of repairs, and instruct the repairer to pass
the bill directly to the relevant insurer for payment, thus
relieving you of inconvenience or the possibility of the burden
of paying for the repairs on collection. In the event that the
accident was your fault or that the recovery cannot be made,
we will arrange 90 days free credit before the bill must be
paid.

Terms & Conditions
Payment of the AMS Membership fee entitles you the Member to
unrestricted use of our service for 12 months from the date
of registration. Terms for other claims/claimants such as passengers
or company vehicles will be agreed upon application in the event
of an accident.
The full AMS service is only available to valid paid AMS members
in and arising from incidents occurring in mainland England
Scotland and Wales, Claim negotiation is available for uninsured
loss recovery in most AMS staff will advise and negotiate on
all aspects of an insurance claim including vehicle valuation
and valuation disputes, as even when using your own insurance
company, you can't be sure that you are getting the best deal..
AMS Staff will handle any type of motor claim regardless of
who was to blame or your type of insurance
If it can be proved that you were not at fault for an accident;
You may be faced with losses which are not covered by your insurance
policy, these are called Uninsured Losses and include your policy
excess and claims for personal injury compensation.
AMS staff will help evaluate and quantify your losses, Payment
for services provided must be made within 11 months of the date
of the agreement or the provision of the services. Whilst the
cost of providing credit services such as hiring alternative
transport, repairs, technical or medical reports and other AMS
fees will remain legally your responsibility AMS will endeavor
to recover these charges for you. We reserve the right to recover
in your name all related charges from the possible, you will
not have to pay any bills yourself or spend time and considerable
effort dealing with your claim to recover these losses from
the other driver, Where this is not possible we will ensure
that you are fully informed of all potential charges which will
be kept to the absolute minimum.
The provision of AMS services will depend on the receipt of
full, accurate details of the incident, your needs, co-operation,
availability and, where applicable, the validation of third
party cover We must consider your duty to keep costs as low
as possible.
All services must be agreed in advance with your personal accident
claim handler and must be supplied by authorised AMS suppliers
unless agreed otherwise prior to the provision of that service.
Invoices for services provided will where applicable be invoiced
in your name for recovery from the third party. To ensure settlement
of those services all cheques for damages will be cleared via
the AMS client account.
To invoke legal expenses insurance, there must be agreement
by both AMS and the instructed solicitor that the circumstances
of the claim present reasonable prospect of a successful recovery.
Legal expen se insurance will be arranged at such time as litigation
is considered necessary.

following agreement to process a claim or upon written application
